Canuck fans or people who watch Vancouver, does Virtanen stay with the team? Watching this game, he looks like he's physically ready for the NHL even if the points aren't there but I think he should be sent back if he has a Tom Wilson type role on the team because he should be groomed for a top 6 role.

They should keep him up honestly.

I'm not saying this is a fact, just what I've heard from 2 people who have played with and against him and it's that he doesn't take his fitness seriously. Keep him with the team and keep a close eye on him, he's got ridiculous ability and I think if that stuff is true, it would be better to keep him up and play him in a middle 6 role than to send him down.

He's physically ready for a role, he had his best game against the Habs. Ideally we'd like to see a bit more of a scoring touch from him, but I think having him learn with a couple veterans on his line would be better than sending him down.

Christ, Price. If it wasn't for him the game would be 3-3. That loss to Vancouver clearly pissed him off.

I agree. IMO everything in Virtanen's hockey career has come relatively easy to him because he is such a beast who could just dominate any competition with his physical skills and talent, that is until now.

The challenge of playing against men who know what they're doing will force Virtanen to drastically up his compete level. I don't think that'll happen in the WHL.

McDavid with a snow shower on Carey on purpose, stay classy bud

He was stopping.

McDavid is one of the fastest players, it wasn't intentional.

Better watch out for that diving, cheap shotting, snowing McDavid. If he stays on that path he might turn out to be Subban..

Idk what you have against Subban, he hasn't done anything to the oilers tonight :shakehead

Do you have nightmares about him too?

Idk what you have against McDavid, the kid is a rookie..

You would think McDavid is a pest.

It goes both ways. Let's just watch the game..

Wow, I feel so bad for BB. That's a horrible goal by Andersen and I don't see BB keeping his job if they lose tonight.

McDavid is already one of my favourite Oilers, I'm mostly only watching him since he's the most exciting player you have. Of course I'll make comments on him...don't take it personally.
