It looked like a forward trust fall with the extended arms...i guess the Oilers are teaching McDavid how to lose too now.

Oh totally. Lowe holds classes regularly on how to not draft and build a defense.

But sure it's McDavids fault the team is losing. Just like Price is the only reason the Habs win right?

It's not on Lowe, it's just a losing mentality in Edmonton. The lockerroom is filled with a bunch of losers. It's only 10 games in, but they're on pace for a lottery pick...go figure.

Such an ignorant post. Yah losing mentality. With high roster turnover, new coaches ever year, no semblance of good drafting, only one Vet on D maybe two that can actually play...

Yup, must be the mentality. :help:

Petry clearly carried that losing stink over with him.

Well Horcoff did everything he could but Tarasenkos back in for the 3rd. Impressive when you get an elbow up and connect with the knee.

Horvat waiting for a pass on a 2on1 with Sven. Sven turns it over and the puck ends up over the glass.

Horvat yells a word I can't post here pretty loudly.

Horvat is definitely frustrated right now. He's working very hard and playing great defensively, but no matter what he tries the offence just isn't working.

He'll snap out of it eventually but he's struggling offensively right now.

How I see Oilers and the Karma they are getting Renney team improving fire him replace him with Krueger the team was improving were in a playoff fight till last 2 weeks of season. They go on and fire their gm in Tambo bring In Mctavish he fires the coach who the team loved and was playing hard for to bring in boot camp coach Eakins. He is a awful coach they stick with him a full season as team nose dives. Then they keep the NO DOUGHNUTS FOR YOU COACH till the next season is lost as well . So they bring in interm coach Nelson team improves . They fire GM bring in new GM and replace another coach who had the team improving. Honestly the team looks like it is doomed for years to come.

Maybe the habs taught him how to win

Petry walked in and made an impact right away. Attack the players all you want but the management was to blame for not addressing the D. Letting Petry go was a perfect example of that.

The players aren't losers, that management group was..

Canuck fans or people who watch Vancouver, does Virtanen stay with the team? Watching this game, he looks like he's physically ready for the NHL even if the points aren't there but I think he should be sent back if he has a Tom Wilson type role on the team because he should be groomed for a top 6 role.

It's hard to say.

Whether McCann and Virtanen stay beyond 9 games is definitely the talk of the town in Vancouver right now. Lots of differing opinions and nobody really knows what'll happen.

Personally I could see him and McCann staying, but perhaps also being released for the WJC and maybe only playing around 60-65 games each.
