Colin has been the best of the young D thus far. Looks more composed.

O'Gara has been fine outside of that one bad turnover.

Carlo had a rough start but his last few shifts have been good.

Other than one gaffe by OGara he has looked okay. C Miller has looked like what I wanted to see last year. Carlo I would like to see paired with anyone but Chara. I'm not sure how much blame can be laid on Carlo since Chara was literally next to Carlo on a couple of the goals.

Marchy is one of the most electric players in the world when he's feeling it. Unstoppable at times

And he's the player that every other hockey fan/player despises watching succeed the most... :naughty: Very few players in the league have his skill and creativity, and perhaps no other player in the league is as hated as him. He gained a lot of respect after the World Cup but he's still a rat.

I don't think the young D have been really that bad, I mean for 1st games.

Great game so far and nice job by the vets..and Pasta..keeping bruins in the game.

I really don't think we are getting outplayed that badly either.

Nash, Moore, Acciari...I have liked that 4th line, they had a few good shifts of cycling, all seem to skate really well. Nash has looked alright on the forecheck, Moore had a nice chance on the PK...Acciari nothing too special but our 4th line isnt getting hemmed in their zone or making really bad glaring mistakes...don't look like corpses...so that's an improvement in that area.

Hope they keep it going.

That could have gone better.

With the 1st period jitters out of the way, the 2nd period was much better.

As expected, the Bruins' defensive zone play is a bit ragged. When they make it into the offensive zone the team is more of a buzzsaw than I expected, great energy and effort. They'll need to improve their neutral zone entries though, too many blue line giveaways so far.

Special teams needs work.

Don't know what the numbers say, but it looks like only one line is capable of sustaining any possession.

Krejci looks disinterested. What else is new. Frustrating player to watch knowing he could flip the switch at any moment and be the best player on the ice.

He's in mid season form...

I really don't like the Liles-C.Miller pairing..they both don't seem strong enough on the boards/in front of the net and if they match up against a bigger/more physical line it could be bad.

The PP goal was all on Carlo.

The 2nd one he didn't get good wood on the clear but the entire unit was at fault, in particular whoever was the LW on that shift (Belesky?)

Really like what I'm seeing.

Czarnik will give the Bruins a very creative 3rd line C allowing Spooner to play in a top-6 that will be adding Bergy shortly.

Heinen showing the skills too.

Marchand is something else. His extension cap hit too.

Welcome to Boston Backes! Will look good next to Krejci this year.

Let's go B's! Let's win this!

Yep. Beleskey it was. He blew the clearing attempt, badly, which created the scoring chance they converted on. Brutal play by him.

Can anyone shed light on if Czarnik can play RW? Really want to see Backes-Pastrnak kept together.

Good game so far pretty good responses from Carlo and C Miller to early mistakes. Colin needs to play like this every game when he does you can see that hes bigger/stronger/more talented than most D men. Glad McQuaid isn't playing over him but he has to keep it up. Carlo's been hung out to dry twice but is still playing solid.

Pasternak- STAR playing just as good away from the puck tonight. Acciari looks awesome perfect 4th liner real fast and great hitter.
