Seems like it’s a problem with the vets more than GG considering Gallant has found success everywhere he’s been. I mean we look worse than we looked under DQ somehow we’ve just been incredibly lucky and haven’t deserved our 6-2-1 record

I mean, they aren’t wrong about being utilized properly. We had one foot in and one foot out with signing panarin Kreider zbad, strome and speeding up the timeline. These kids need time and reps. They’re not getting it, and it’s going south. It also looks like some of the vets intentionally try not to play well with the kids (cough strome and Panarin with kakko)

Exactly what I mean. Would be the nail in the coffin if either Kakko or LaF requested a trade and the sad thing is I can absolutely see it happening with Kakko. LaF will need a bit more time to realize

The reports about Panarin and Strome not wanting to play with Kakko last year when in reality it should be Kakko not wanting the play with them.

I really hope those rumours are not true. Kid gets his dream come true to play in the NHL and realizes two of the teams star players don't want to play with him. That would just be disgusting behaviour, you can't do that to a young player. Even if things don't work out in the beginning, their job is to teach him, encourage him and do their part in the development that he becomes a better player. Players have responsibility in that stuff too.
