This one could get ugly with Enroth in net, I predict Karlsson dominating us all night.

Agreed. Our defensive coverage has been atrocious, giving up odd man breaks and prime scoring chances. Karlsson has been playing fantastic and is so slick with the puck. He will have a very good night.

Was going to comment on them being a league worst in shot differential but it appears that is not the case.

They are indeed bloody awful at giving up shots (29th - ahead of only Oilers).

But they actually are good at shots for per game (9th)

However, IMO, they are giving up prime shots. They have had stretched of seasons where they give up a lot of shots, but they are mostly contained to perimeter shots with a clear line of sight for the tender.

This season they are giving up lots of shots and they are coming in the slot and around the net with screens or left all alone with no coverage.

Got to clean that up fast. Erhoff being out won't help.

After that post from a sens fan in the main boards saying Erik K should be in discussion for the best player in the league, I am really looking forward to watch him play tonight.

This will be my first time seeing him also. My friends say he's even quicker in person, he just zooms down the ice. Should be a treat to watch him.

Have watched him quite a bit, and he is fun to watch, unless he is shredding your team.

IMO, think of the good Campbell that can also play defense.

Finally got around to updating the OP lineups... some tweets that probably have been noted already, but nonetheless:
John Vogl ‏@BuffNewsVogl
Jhonas Enroth will start in goal for the Sabres against the Senators. "We need a big effort," coach Lindy Ruff said.

Ian Mendes ‏@ian_mendes
Christian Ehrhoff suffered an undisclosed muscle injury on Sunday and will not play tonight vs Ottawa.

Sabres' latest drill has defense pairings of Pardy-Myers, Leopold-Weber and Brennan-Sulzer.

Ottawa Senators ‏@NHL_Sens
Update: Sergei Gonchar (flu) is expected to play tonight but will be a game time decision. If he can't go, Mark Borowiecki will replace him.

I put on paper because we haven't seen Pardy play yet. Mind you it can't get much worse can it?

I'm actually optimistic about Pardy, he plays a simple game. Keep the play to the outside, tie guys up in the middle, clear the puck along the boards, make the safe play and get it out of the zone.

Eh, Oh, Buffalo Go!

That said, we lose this one. Too many men out on the backend and Anderson has been playing out of his mind.

Hey look, 9,000 posts. :)
