There were a couple places where a call could have been made, but nothing egregious. That Dumoulin penalty call was weaker than the two no calls, but was to be expected given the situation.

That's what I said, I said they've had the opportunity to call a penalty. Granted they weren't as blatantly obvious as they could have been.

I swear these early games seem to be a lot higher scoring than games at regular times. I bet a statistical analysis would prove it. I have a fantasy team and I always play players in early games and it has paid off.

west is stacked and its prob gonna be an epic show down between kings n hawks ,
but i keep seeing a determined ultra beast burns leading the sharks to wins with a whole bunch of talented guys on his side that can make offense vs anybody and i have to rate them tied with several teams at #4 behind hawks-kings-caps

if they can add an offensive creating vet dman they get real serious

i was checking in on sledge guys twitter but didnt know playing today

anybody calling burns for hart ? every shark game i watch hes a dominant force on both sides puck . wilson cant put it all together but he sure made two gigantic steals in thorton and burns , sjs would be trash without those trades . i remember how bummed babcock was when sharks got burns , my read was he was po'ed holland didnt beat that offer . best dman in nhl

A rarity, for sure...I'll take it, especially after phantom call city kept the Flyers in the last game.

To be fair, most of the Vancouver calls have been by the book calls, but the Canucks should have had at least 2 PP chances...I'll be shocked if they don't get one down the stretch, especially with the scoreboard flipping.

Kings had the exact same thing earlier this year. Got 1-2 PPs on a 5 or so game road trip when they were near 70% CF%. It was mind blowing and I feel the frustration
