Leafs need the penguins to win this an sneak into the playoffs.

Two 1st round picks in the top 20 would be great.

We've been getting favorable calls all night, that's for sure. Which is nice.

A rarity, for sure...I'll take it, especially after phantom call city kept the Flyers in the last game.

To be fair, most of the Vancouver calls have been by the book calls, but the Canucks should have had at least 2 PP chances...I'll be shocked if they don't get one down the stretch, especially with the scoreboard flipping.

That's just stunning.

Over the course of the season you expect maybe 2 PP-less games...but that on a road trip is absurd.

Are the Canucks secretly employing Steve Downie or something?

No clue, but let us know if they are.

It's not like the refs have had the opportunity to call a penalty on Pittsburgh, they just haven't.

There were a couple places where a call could have been made, but nothing egregious. That Dumoulin penalty call was weaker than the two no calls, but was to be expected given the situation.

Holy **** balls, a Crosby empty netter!

He's going to be suffering some severe allergies tonight.

What a set-up to Hagelin to lead up to it...he's a better bunter than any of the Pirates pitchers.
