Well, now I know what I want to eat. Except I'm one of those guys who doesn't do peppers/onions/mushrooms. Meat, cheese, lettuce, mayo.

You need to learn how to eat a real cheesesteak, son. Lucky for your lesser developed tastebuds that Anvil's is close to NC State's campus (just over in Cary off of Tryon, near its intersection with Jones Franklin Rd) and that he offers up a steak hoagie. It comes with meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato, raw onion, oil & vinegar, and oregano, but I'm sure they can sub that out for how you like it, wrong though it may be.

...or they will win 1 in regulation, lose 1 in regulation, win 1 in OT/SO, and lose 2 in OT/SO and we'll pretty much be exactly where we are currently.

You clearly haven't been following this team very long. :sarcasm:

You clearly are delusional if your betting on any wins in OT/SO in the next 5 games.

That's true. My favorite place, the former unfortunately named 'Chink's Steaks' but now renamed 'Joe's Steaks', took awhile to relent to the "kids" and their desire for whiz.

I'm a fan of the whiz, though. It just works so well.

+1 to not understanding the outrage. So employees at PNC are upset that employees in Philly didn't risk their wellbeing so they could have their day off? Or ticket holders here having to exchange tickets because the league didn't want fans in Philly to risk coming out? I get being slightly annoyed by the inconvenience, but people are acting like this turns their world upside down. Better screwed having to work a different day than screwed killing yourself trying to get to work.

So why is it only OK for Flyers staff to not risk killing themselves but the staff/arena workers for NJ, NY, and DC had to risk killing themselves. It's more about consistency to me.

If you are going to postpone 1 game due to weather, then the others should be as well. I think it makes it even worse b/c Philly got out of a back to back where the Canes are now playing 5 games in 7 days.

And I just can't forget back in 2009 when the city of Raleigh had a state of emergency due to an Ice storm and the canes wanted to postpone but the league fought them to the end. Said that since the other team (hawks) were in town, the game must go on. Philly is more equipped to handle bad weather/snow. NC is not equipped to handle winter weather. So again, it was ok for the staff of RBC and the fans to risk their lives driving on ICE, but for the Flyers it's not ok. Again some consistency would be nice. But I know, that would just be common sense for this league to be consistent.

Well, I have no expectations whatsoever after the last 4 games, but the Canes really need to get some wins here before the Olympic break to have any "plan" for a post break run. If things dont go well, or at least 12 points in the next 9 games, I think it is time to do some selling after the break.

6 home games and 3 away games before the break.

At Philly- ?
At Buff- gotta win
Ottawa- gotta win
Columbus- been hot
@Mtl- ?
St. Louis- tough to beat this team
Winnipeg- gotta win
Florida-gotta win
Montreal- gotta win

So with 6 home games they really need to get on a home roll. I am not expecting to beat the Blues, but I am sure the others that I have put gotta win by we wont win all those either. I'm just thinking out loud here all....What are some reasonable wishes between now and the break? I dont even want to say expectations anymore, because like I said, I never know what to expect with this team.

Those 9 games, i agree with ya, Columbus, we owe them, but they are so hot.. Montreal is hit or miss... St louis... catch them on a bad night... but a PLAYOFF team wins other games.. is this team capable of 6-3 over next 9, history over last 4/2 years says no.. we shall see... Btw, ward skated in practice today, expect peters to be sent down very soon, or you get a draft choice for him..

This team just never seems to go on long runs (other than losing). Other than the 5 game winning streak recently I couldnt tell you the last time we had something similar to that. I think the worst thing that could happen over this next 9 games is to get 8-9 points...we need some kind of movement, up or down.

So if i have basic cable, this isnt on channel 51 or 67? Where can i watch locally

Channel numbers:
TWC: 521/1521
DirecTV: 645/645-1
AT&T: 726/1726
Dish: 450/9573, 412-38 (Hopper)

If you’re a TWC Raleigh customer the guide shows 508/1508 for FSC, but it’s actually on 521/1521 although the guide says Special Events.

Okay so I don't have it here. That's fine. I usually watch games on GCL through a Spain VPN anyway for Canes games because I like HD.
