The Islanders are playing at the Garden tonight. The Rangers and Caps games are very accessible by subway, while Philly only has one minor subway line running to the arena and most people drive there.

Seriously. The post-Olympic schedule is going to be even more hellish because of this. The teams are there. Just go on with the ****ing game. If it has to be played in front of no fans, so be it. Give them their money back.

the roads are messssssss i wanted hockey tonight myself but witout a major subway system and a good contingent of fans come from the southern NJ area (NJ is under a state of emergency so being on the roads is frowned upon to let the plows do their work) well play hockey another night
