So since the last time these two teams have played things have gone the complete opposite direction. The Flyers offense has gotten it together and they are now hanging on to a playoff spot. On the other side, the Canes have hit the skids and are just outside the top picks with only a recent winning streak keeping us out of the basement.

Looks like we're getting an echo of our all too recent past in this case.

I will give it a 25% chance of happening. It took the Canes more than an hour to get from the morning skate back to the hotel (usually a 15 minute drive). And they are calling the worst of the snow for later on tonight.

except that flyers are on the 2nd side of a back to back today and our open date (3/10) leaves us on the end of a back to back.

Since we seem to be directly competing with them for a playoff position, it is better for the Canes if we play tonight. (in theory)
