Oh look, another optimistic post from the fake Lightning fan. I'm sure we're all very surprised on here by your usual plethora of positivity...
You're right, I need to be more optimistic after today's impressive win.Sure, Montreal and Detroit are on a 10-0 streak each, and they beat Toronto pretty much never, but that's no reason to be pessimistic.

There is nothing wrong with pessimism, but what you are doing is called catastrophizing.

You don't need others validation, you have value for just being you. I sincerely hope that you overcome whatever obstacles you are facing right now. Vent away.

You and Byrd should have a rousing get together; it can be like an echo chamber of how bad the Lightning are. It doesn't really matter how they play or who they beat, as people like yourself find a reason to whine and complain.

It's called realism. The team looks terrible, in the last 10 games there was maybe 1 game when they looked decent - against Carolina. You don't agree?
It's almost like there are slumps in a season, we have the same record as Florida in the last 10, a team that you're confident will beat us.

We've had an absolute gauntlet to start the year, I'm sure that once things slow down a bit and we get healthier we'll look like the lightning team from the rest of the year.

Do you also think that they will both catch us and we will be 5th in the Atlantic?
History has shown that Detroit will eventually run out of steam. Montreal is in the same boat. They are going to be tough games, but winning against at least one of them is a must.

It also feels like every teams goaltender turns into Jesus reincarnated when they play us.

Glad you all have noticed the same. It really doesn't matter who we play, how great we play, how we win or lose, nothing is good enough for this dude. Even a PPG Kucherov isn't good enough for him.

I seriously doubt the twinkie behind that username is a Lightning fan.
