Veleno's line was directly responsible for their 2nd goal. All 3 forwards strangely skated out of the zone and then they easily scored the goal.
Kasper has hit the wall and after that bad and lazy play vs the sharks where his was responsible for their sh goal he should not be in the lineup.

I believe Veleno has the most ES points on the team last 10-15 games.

Edvidsson is amazing. The kid is +8.
And Kane plays like a star.

Had a peek at the Florida's game thread for this game. And interesting how even though you've been to the finals 2 years ago and won it 1 year ago doesn't stop you from having like 20 ShanahanMan's when you're losing a few games in the irrelevant regular season grind for them.

Which proves to me not a single fanbase is ever happy no matter if you've had success recently or not.

What are you taking about on Kasper hitting the wall? Kid was awesome tonight. He probably was the best guy along the boards in d-zone winning pucks and getting clears. That’s not a normal thing for a rookie against a team like Florida’s. Also scored a massive goal and added an assist

Lagesson isn't, fine, send him back to GR.

It's just one road trip until Petry is healthy, fine.

But this is the biggest league in the world. This is an important road trip. We are in a playoff chase. How is it possible that there's no one better than Holl to ice in these games?

We can't find a team with a solid AHL defenseman to give future considerations to? A veteran in Europe? Anything?

Good to see that Raymond can make other players look great. But I think I covered it in my previous post.
Which player has not been great since Mclellan took over? Rasmussen?
I have to admit though that goal was Sakic like goal. That was a goal scorer goal.

But I don't think I will engage in any further discussion about Kasper. I wrote in his thread what I think and it is very obvious that I am the only one on this board who thinks he should sit.

I enjoy watching this team, they play good and exciting hockey. I would like more hits and more physical play though.
Raymond, Seider and Edvidsson are doing great. All 3 have started carrying this team.

Compher somehow played 19 minutes, i noticed he was out there quite a bit, but he really didn't do much.

16.7 FO% jesus... He's been OK on the dot lately, but probably gonna need someone on his line that can take face-offs when he's having nights like these.

Honestly I think he's been mostly bad. Of the three guys taking most of the faceoffs, Larkin, Copp and Compher, he's usually the worst.

I don't get it. He's a 29 year old center. It's not like I expect him to be Bergeron out there but good god man work on your faceoffs when you're putting up the percentages of an undersized rookie.

And I suspect JV did not play a ton as T-Mc is still going through evaluation periods, expect 5-10 games per change up cycle. The next probable shake up tweak will be next Thursday at home against the Habs.

Next round might see Kasper at 2C and Ras on 1LW to keep everyone engaged and keep to his stated plan.

If they move Kasper to 2C, I suspect Copp will go 3C and Compher to 4C, but I do expect on most games without a lot of special team play that 4 lines will pretty much roll.

Only 1 Assist (Sharks) in 9 games! 12 games overall. And 13 without goal.
But also plays less. Under Fester sometimes 17 or 18 min, since Todd only around 11, on average easily 4-5 minutes less.

Next game he scoring a goal!
