We now have four 20 goal scorers

No team has three. Cirelli sitting at 16

EDIT: Make that 17!!!!

We're gonna have five 20 goal scorers before anyone else has three.

pretty horrible effort overall but considering this is the second night of a back to back with travel (with a game that starts less then 24 hours before the last) I will take wins like these any days

Maybe its just me but im not a huge fan of Cernak. He looks like an idiot when trying to be intimidating and doing the death stare at anyone that comes near him. Dude hasnt won a fight in like 4 years, Talks alot of shit for a guy that has lost most of the fights he tries to spot pick including being pumped by Tom Wilson. Add in the fact that he cant stay healthy and has declined every year since his rookie year.

Pittsburgh deserved a better fate in this game but they need a big shakeup. Zero passion in that team and it has been that way for a long time now. No anger, no pushback, just a bunch of guys skating around.

I've beaten this horse enough but just can't help myself, could not imagine paying to watch this team over the past few years.

Who gives a f*** about fights? The assignment is to make forwards uncomfortable and pay a price for standing in the scoring areas near the net, nasty work which he's always willing to do.

How many years are we just going to be a "one line team"????

Yes.

It's so frustrating. Honestly, so jealous of the Lightning who actually have the balls to do things to be a winner.

Mike Sullivan still being our coach is just complete malpractice.

Happy Jake got to go to a team that at least has some future.

Feel like Tampa could be a dark horse depending on their deadline and how Moser looks when he gets back.

Its the fake tough guy shit he tries to pull for no reason. im not saying he isnt willing to clear the crease or anything like that, but he also does alot of stupid shit and is basically begging the refs to call something on him. Cant be acting all big and bad starting shit like he does for no reason

Hedman does the same thing, and talks more shit than any other defenseman on our team but he never drops the gloves. You must hate him too.

I kinda sorta understand what you are saying, he does it sometimes when it isn't warranted, but refs never call that after the whistle stuff if it's near the crease. It looks annoying to us, sitting in our comfy chairs staring through a monitor, but I imagine it has a psychological effect and it works. You see forwards let up instead of jabbing away.

When we had zero of that in the past from our dmen, we got bullied and it was embarrassing. I appreciate what he's doing.

Now we are just a two line team though

At this point I'm in favor of just keeping Paul on line two and letting the third line be what it is.

I'm just remembering back in the off-season when the heards couldn't put together how this team was improved offensively and defensively.

They're the top scoring team in the league and top-10 defensively  We still have moves available to get even better too.

Unfortunately we still see a few come out of the woodwork. You know the one's I'm talking about.

Tonight isn't the game I'd volunteer as evidence for our vast improvement, but our play through this year has been stellar. Even when we were losing a bunch in November we looked like an entirely different team than last year.
