It's so frustrating. Honestly, so jealous of the Lightning who actually have the balls to do things to be a winner.

Mike Sullivan still being our coach is just complete malpractice.

Happy Jake got to go to a team that at least has some future.

Feel like Tampa could be a dark horse depending on their deadline and how Moser looks when he gets back.
One of the more tone-deaf posts I've ever read. You won three Cups and there is a price to be paid for that but you're teams management has decided to kick the can down the road before rebuilding for Sid's sake. He's probably the one guy who is owed that kind of consideration. But look at your line up, how are you even .500? And you're ripping Sullivan?! What coach could do better? The Bolts will suffer the same fate at some point in the not too distant future, that is just reality for highly successful teams, but hopefully they won't wait as long as you guys to see reality when it hits.

Yes, he is a complete fraud.

Now we are just a two line team though

At this point I'm in favor of just keeping Paul on line two and letting the third line be what it is.
Desperately need a deadline move for a middle six winger. Bottom six as a whole is just a disappointing shitshow offensively. Chaffee and Ace being your "bright spots" is a recipe for a 1st round knockout. Need to somehow find a scorer to add to the mix. Ideally, two but we can't afford it. Girgensons is so dogshit with the puck. Guy offers nothing most warm body 13th forward guys can.

They can definitely add two forwards at the deadline. It makes adding on defense little trickier, but with retention and Tampa sending a little salary back in at least one trade, it is possible to add up to 3 players at the deadline. They may not get any of the absolute highest priced guys, but there are many options out there that could improve the middle 6 that are in Tampa's range.

I think I wanna see Geekie on the third line for a bit with Paul on line two. Give Geekie some center time flanked by the speedy Ace and Chaffee. Can't be worse than what it's been.

There comes a point where a change and spark is needed. Sullivan is a good coach but you can't have a team so soft and heartless year after year. Is it "his fault"? Perhaps not. But the poster you quoted is being pretty fair imo, Pens need a massive change. This started before Dubas arrived.

You've missed the point and perhaps you missed the word "were" in my previous post. Dubas IS a joke. Hextall WAS and so WAS Burke.

If Pittsburgh wants to try for a new coach bump Sullivan would probably welcome getting the gate deep down. He knows he has a shit team. And he wouldn't be unemployed for long. But if you think the old "the boys just need play tougher and harder " nonsense is going to change the fortunes of that lineup, guess again. Winning three Cups costs and the piper eventually must be paid. You have tried to avoid making payment for too long and the interest has piled up.
