Playing center in this league at any age is hard. Just look at Hayes

Won't take that long. Again, I don't think their 200-foot game is far apart now because Hayes defends like most 18-year-olds.
Chytil is better than most 18-year-olds.
If AV going to shorten the bench first half of the season - it will be a long haul for some players who will be exhausted. It took like 10 minutes. We should sent Chytil home, and used Miller as center. Get him off Hayes line - they have been cold the last month of 2016-17 season including playoffs.

Bc people think hank is done and will automatically blame him for every goal even if not intentionally but subconsciously doing it to confirm their biases.
I didn’t like his rebound out of the glove on the first goal but honestly this was not a game where Hank was the issue like he was at times last season. Anyone saying that is flat out wrong. He was fine. Encouraging more than anything. He looked like normal Hank and like he just needs a get some work and find a rhythm. He didn’t look like he was late in tracking and fighting the puck and delayed in his movements like he did often last year.

Am I in danger of about going to slit my wrists like some of my brothers in here and thinking season is over? Ummmm....probably not. My dog did know to stay away but I think I'll make it till next game alive and well for Toronto Saturday night....hah.
I'm a little concerned about some of our brothers in here tho....lo
Ok we somehow lost to the worst team in hockey. Yeah it's a bit embarrassing and unexpected but shit happens sometimes. I saw some real good things tonight. Zibbby obviously looked awesome. Shatty looks like he's going to be as advertised. I liked the compete level of the Buch's, Vesey's, Zuccs

well this team is in trouble if Hayes is a scrub cause he is the best second center option right now unless miller moves to center

Garbage loss. Where it sits on the schedule means absolutely nothing. They threw away two points to an AHL team.

I'm not worried about Hayes. He's going to do what he does, but he's not a top-6 guy. He should be the third-line C, but he's pressed into a bigger role because of our lack of talent down the middle.

I mean, hard to tell based on the sample size available between this year and last year.
But he looked good tonight in that stupid string of penalties in the second period.
So, there's that.
I didn't read anything about people blaming him for the 2nd so I doubt you'll get a response to that. I felt he should have done a better job either gloving the puck or pushing the rebound out on the 1st one, but stuff like that is going to happen and the d should have done a better job tying up the man in front.
