The same Calvin Pickard who was waived today? We wouldn't have to trade for him

The only injury history I know for him was with his back last year, and I believe that was muscle related - and with a 6'2 frame, which he is obviously filling out (eye test and weight gain numbers) I can understand an athletic coach or muscle therapist saying that he needs to take it easy at stretches last year. He looks like he is in much better shape this year. First off-season spent on our training program, and he trained with Kreider.

It will happen, he is shooting for goals. But, that is why Kreider and Buch flank on the sides of the net, rather than just having one guy stand directly in front - deflections for the misses, etc.
 
Someone asked how Chytil did in the face-off circle. As far as i can tell, he took 4 draws this period :

18:18 - Lost against Duchene
18:04 - Lost against Duchene
15:02 - Lost against Duchene
07:56 - Won against Compher

It was me asking. How did he do in the preseason? Duchene is one of the best faceoff guys in the league.

Sometimes at the start of a period, the way the players skate and try to stop, it looks like the ice is still a little wet.
 
Nash getting in a scuffle is hilarious. He looks like that bull, what's his name? Fernando.

He just wants to enjoy life, leave him alone.

We are not even halfway into the 1st game of the season. Lets not get carried way :thumbu:

The first game is the barometer for the whole season. Mika is on pace for 164 goals. Hank had an iffy period+, so obviously we have a goalie crisis.
