The Ramgers looked a lot better later on, but overall they were incredibly uninspiring. Bad game by most players. A lot of it is rust, but a lot of it is also just inherent flaws with the team.

Kids were nervous the first period. That was the game. Second period was much more balanced, then they played Trotz hockey in the 3rd.

It's one game. They'll definitely have a better first period on Saturday.

Again, though, it comes down to intensity. I expected a team of competitors to at least care. The only one who seemed to care was ADA ... and he was terribly stupid about it.

I'm just not seeing any of the future core take steps and I'm growing tired of waiting.
