I don't recall Barkov having zero burst, though. That is just so very troubling for me. It really does not seem to work well at the NHL level.

Just mad they look so gassed out there. We had a few chances but just can't hit the net. Quinn is horrible with sticking to like combos. I can't even count on how many changes he's made.

Kakko is very quickly becoming a huge disappointment.

Now, I still have a TON of hope for him and I do think he ends up as a solid 1st line player. But he is purely a complementary player and has not shown that he can drive the play.

Which is so bizarre, because the kid looked like a world beater that would be the definition of a line driver in his draft year.

It would be important to trade Kakko as soon as possible before his trade value drops too much. He was statistically the worst player in the NHL last season and things are not looking very good.

Seconded. I want to believe he’ll turn it around, more than anything, but I just don’t see it. There are flashes of decent play but no flashes of brilliance. There’s just nothing there.
