I'm not even a little worried about Kakko yet.
I'm more worried that he continues to underachieve for another year or two, and we sell low on him before he comes into his own.

Terrific, if you ask me. Considering it’s his first NHL game, especially. Looks like a vet and always attacking. He’s efficient, doesn’t waste time.
Kakko should learn from him.

Kakko looks better than the player he was last year. He’s had chances, been in good places. It’ll come. Anyone making any serious judgements off game one of this bizzaro season needs to slow it down. It’s all fun and fine to joke around to cope, but we shouldn’t be expressing any serious concerns until at least 3-5 games have gone by.
Hockey is back. We’ve got a whole season ahead of us. Laf looks as exciting as we wanted. I’m content.

I have no issues with Kakko, but Panarin thinks the game at 10x speed and Kaapo just ain't there yet. KK still looks lost trying to get open in the O zone. Not sure about that line yet.
