Please send Johnson down to the AHL. Kakko also needs to be in the AHL when the AHL season begins to gain some confidence. I’ll never forgive this team if they ruin Kakko by rushing his development. And Miller needs to be on the 3rd pairing or in the AHL if nothing changes in the next few games.

It would be important to trade Kakko as soon as possible before his trade value drops too much. He was statistically the worst player in the NHL last season and things are not looking very good.

It's an eye test thing too. Nobody thinks he's good except NHL coaches somehow. I don't understand NHL coaches.

He made two consecutive bad plays on the fourth goal. One, a Hank-esque non pass/non-clearance after winning the puck down low. Two, getting stuck in no man’s land and allowing the pass from Eberle to get through and to the net.

He then proceeds to completely miss the net on a prime one timer chance shortly after at the other end.

I’ve seen enough.

I think Howden’s had a good game.

Our third and fourth lines looked good I thought.

Chytil and Gauthier looked good?

The skill disparity between Laf and Kakko is pretty incredible. Laf is a clear step above.

Kakko is very quickly becoming a huge disappointment.

Now, I still have a TON of hope for him and I do think he ends up as a solid 1st line player. But he is purely a complementary player and has not shown that he can drive the play.

I see a lot of Barkov flashbacks at this same stage.

Thought he had that one in the slot, but it went wide.

Howden is the only guy winning FO's. Miller does not look ready at all. He keeps skating at and attacking players crossing the blue line and leaving Trouba in the wind. That is something most defensemen learn not to do very early.

The most frustrating part about losing Fast, is that the people that wanted him gone still don't miss him after a game like this.
