RIP Fugu ϶(°o°)ϵ
Not a truly awful game if you throw out that 5 minute bed****ting in the first, but otherwise we've looked offensively like the playoff Blues of years past where we couldn't buy a goal.
Blues have missed the net on some prime opportunities, Lehtonen has made a few outstanding saves on several others, and the Stars have done a great job blocking shots all night.

Blues have played pretty crappy, but not crappy enough that a shutout should have been in play with less than half a period to go.

These nights happen every now and then.

where the hell was the defenseman on the left side of the offensive zone? down by 3, ample time to take and shoot a loose puck. but nah
better guard the ghosts in the neutral zone

You are right. I worded that incorrectly. Meant the most common and very dim. Its cool that you know that, though. Kudos.

It's all good. Brown Dwarf's status as a "star" is contested as they cannot really sustain any kind of fusion chain in their current state, although they almost certainly had in the past.

Or the CBJ, or COL. There's been a few horrid losses to garbage teams. This being one of them.

No excuse for losing to the Stars...zero.

Stars were down several players and their top players.

Blues were rested....seriously fatigue is not a factor Bernie. A week or so ago, yes. But not tonight

This one's for those of you who absolutely DON'T want The Blues to win The President's Trophy. This is what happens when you don't come to play. Maybe The Blues got all of their built up "badness" out in this one game, and will go right back to their winning ways against all but their "nemesis teams"?

Yes, a very quick burst they could not sustain. Not enough mass. Just like Dallas tonight, actually.

I dont care if its 0.1% chance, you gotta pull the goalie and try to get 4-2 when its 3-4 min left. Hitch is such an outdated old wrinkle, no fun old bag of *

No spirit in the third. Doesnt care much about the result but the lack of energy when going down a couple is alarming though. Not a guy on our bench belived we'd get it right eventually and thats going to show in the rough patches in the POs.

This team lacks pride. We're going to the POs with ease, geat on us - alot of teams have allready given up, but we're not going further with this bunch. Seen it so many times, no leadership, poor goaltendning and a roster looking like the have glue on their skate when facing adversity

Not impressed... Got up at 2 at night to watch this garbage. **** of

Sorry, but I don't put Dallas on garbage category. We weren't ready to this game and everything just fall apart.

Kind of missed Sobotka on this game, he was always that guy who did cover, support and helpo D's on d-zone.

1st goal: Sob line let Benn just walk in to slot and let it rip. That is poor play. This wasn't only case were Blues forwards didn't help D's. They just were too passive and didn't put pressure guy who got puck. I hate that kind of gamestyle.

Couple time I get feeling our forwards were just surfing back to d-zone, just hoping D's would take that puck away or hope Dallas would miss net. Sloppy and very bad supporting play by our forwards. Not sure what goal was it when there was one Dallas forward alone front of net. You just cannot forgot your men out there in this level. Instantly got feeling damn were is Lindbohm when he is needed. Don't forgot your man alone in net, help you G to see puck and clear crease.

But this was just 1 game in regular season. Good 'wakey wakey' call up our guys.

Stars were playing on adrenaline, Blues didnt match. Simple. Also, they had some puck luck. Blues had none. Stars played over their heads. But, they deserved the win.

People overreact everytime the Blues lose by a few goals.

This stuff happens in the NHL. The Oilers beat the Blackhawks 5-2 earlier this season. Chicago probably should have shipped off Toews immediately after that game due to poor leadership.

I mean who really cares about this game, it meant a lot more for Dallas who is fighting for their playoff lives (and a lot of you are not giving them enough credit; it's not like they're a bad team).

We have two tougher games coming up this weekend against the Bruins and Penguins back to back. Time to move on.

0.1% is being generous, but I wouldn't have a problem with it. Losing 5-1 doesn't make a bit of difference.

Not sure why not doing it makes Hitch "outdated", no team in the League regularly pulls their goalie when they are down 3 goals.

Lack of killer instinct. Blues could have drove the stake into the Stars heart on PO aspirations. 6 pts outs and a rough road ahead
