I was definitely a bit on the fence with Mikheyev. I could see the intention, but it seemed like a lot to pay for a middle-of-roster guy. He's been exactly what this team badly needed though. Some speed, with size and actually decent scoring ability. If he continues to play like this, that contract is worth every penny.

Pettersson 11 GP 15 Points (Right outside of top 10, with brilliant defensive play)

Big fan of all of a lot of the new acquisitions so far. Honestly, if it weren't for those blown leads in our opening games, we'd be having an incredible start all-around. Not going to cross my fingers or get overly reactive to how things are going right now, but hopefully they can get some momentum going.
