It's amazing just how much the lack of a 4th NHL quality centre really hurts us.
Although I'm sure there still wouldn't be too much line juggling, not having a viable 3rd option with Chytil out really impacts what was already a unbalanced forward group.
And we really don't have anything waiting in the wings either...

I think Laf, given this summer to work on his shooting and finishes will be better next season. You can work on your shooting, he’s getting to the right places so I have some faith. Kakko on the other hand? Useless.

Looks pretty simple. He is afraid to go to any dirty areas of the ice. He tried that once tonight and fumbled the puck trying to get the shot off in the slot area as he heard foot steps from the dman.
Add to that he has lost a step and his 5 on 5 play in the o zone is a joke. Hopefully I am wrong but that's what it looks like.

In order for this team to take a step forward, you should be hoping this team misses the playoffs.

This isn't just your regular rut that other teams go through. The core sucks, missing the playoffs might make Dolan fire Drury, maybe Lavy isn't immune to it as well.

Hopefully the new GM tells both Kreider and Ziba they suck more on the ice than in the privacy of their bedroom between two consenting adults...and Trouba gets bought-out!
