DeBrincat is young... our interest was obvious.
Karlsson I don't see any reason why we bother, even with money retained...
I don't see any chance we trade for EK65..
Hellybuck sure
Schefeile maybe

Vibe of a guy who just fumbled the bag.![]()
He's gone with no financial strings attached. Stevie has done a great job to jettison the dead weight since he got here.
I better not hear any bitching if he pulls a Vrana and gets like 5 goals in his first few games. There's little danger of that happening but I know some posters would be insufferable if it did![]()

He blames Detroit for all his problems, but never looked himself in the mirror. Guy lacks creativity and takes 40 seconds to release his shot. I wish him luck, but hes on waivers come October.
Yeah you strike me as a person who gets off on someone trying to hide their pain and suffering.Man he pumps me up. I keep watching this because it GETS ME PUMPED!
Damn, that's dark.Yeah you strike me as a person who gets off on someone trying to hide their pain and suffering.
Pesce is signed for less than 5.8m. Just sayin'In a Karlsson-trade, adding only ~5.8M more on the cap is the "magic" cap number.
It could be Määttä 3.0M + 2.8M retention of Karlsson contract to 8.7M number (25% off)
It could be Chiarot 4.5M + 1.3M retention of Karlsson contract to 10.2M number (11.3% off)
Or, no defenceman going to Sharks and 5.75M retention of Karlsson contract to 5.75M number (50% off)
That will keep us 1.7M under the cap, and both Seider and Raymond ELC bonuses 850k+850k together would be kept on this season's cap. So healthy cap for next season, after they extend. No bonus slides.
25M of cap space for 2024-25 season even after adding Karlsson with any of those trade-ideas.
Just as I said he didn't want to fight for a spot. He took the easy way out.

Listen again. " it was tough me starting from the bottom.. I would rather just start somewhere else. " Did you hear that? Yzerman said he wanted to guy to work for a spot and he said terminate instead! Hilarious how you guys are so sympathetic to a waste of a lottery pick due to the guy not wanting to stay and earn a spot.weird i don’t see him saying he didn’t want to fight for a spot in the twitter quotes or the interview. Good Call!
Then he blames the sharks for not giving him an opportunity. LOL! The bottom line is if you think you can score goals and be a dominate player you wouldn't give a damn "who is playing ahead of you" I could see if he is on a stacked roster with legit top 6 talents. We are starved for goals if goal scoring is his damn calling card how can't you play if you can provide this? He is mentally weak!Who wants to bet on if Zadina plays 55+ games versus getting waived at some point in the season?
Why is he not on the Red Wings?Weird. I didn't hear him say he didn't want to fight for a spot.
How should I know what happened? I don't work in the Wings front office. Why is he not on the Red Wings?
