What is this guy doing?
forcing a trade to one team to lower the price most likely
at the same time trying to act like the victim to make the team look bad on top of it
What is this guy doing?
What is this guy doing?
I am pretty sure the discussion was about today’s Matthews.Which player has scored more goals in the NHL the last 9 years?
What is this guy doing?
thank you for noticing. it helps. It’s kinda of making me a little sad to hear Columbus fans getting the maple leafs treatment.
They are in a much more tenuous position with support for the team and security of their franchise. These guys are literally fighting for their hockey lives as fans right now and a bunch of jerks are treating them like they treat us leaf fans.
It’s not cool
Leaf fans really DGAF because we know our team is secure and has a huge history and is really the center of the hockey universe.
Columbus fans don’t deserve the vitriol and aren’t as well seasoned at dealing with it.
Just go back to making fun of us because Marner left and won the Stanley cup AND the Conn Smythe immediately!
What is this guy doing?
Technically you'd probably wanna look at advanced stats. A traditional stat sheet is unlikely to reflect the impact of what you are calling a "top defensive defenseman".

I dont think Werenski has much concern about Matthews like you do considering its been reported he would accept a trade there.I am pretty sure the discussion was about today’s Matthews.
How does it affect to Werenski’s decision what Matthews did years ago in his prime?
I'm not saying Moser is a top 10 D in the league. If he was, we wouldn't be in this. He's a #1D. Probably 20-30 range league wide based on elite defense. He's not what Hedman used to be, and he's not what Werenski is now.I mean going into next year. You think he's completely cooked? I know this year was bad. But that happens.
If you are comparing moser to the ghost of victor Hedman and the loss of raddysh ok. That's not exactly impressive.
If you are saying he is better than a healthy Hedman then yikes
Uhhh...
Jackets will too.Werenski makes Hughes looks like a saint in comparison. What a f***ing twat.
Canucks at least got a solid return in a tough situation.
Absolutely. Even if any of those wingers put up more points, the product on the ice is far more complete with Matthew’s and Werenski on the ice than Werenski and whichever of those wingers you fancy most. The kicker is that their best numbers in Columbus are more comparable to Matthews’s worst season in Toronto. I gotta question whether you are actually serious with your comment and whether I’m wasting my time responding to a troll lolSo you're saying if Werenski comes to Toronto, with the player Matthews is today, he's still better than those other 3 players when they were in Columbus?
IMO, Its debatable.
Werenski is quite a bit better than Heiskanen, you’re right there! He would be in Dallas.
You are being dishonest considering you said leafs have a good prospect pool.Do you always concede a point by deflecting ? You ignore the reality of the current situation regarding werenski, the Bolts, and the Leafs and then ask me if Ive ever taken a debating course ? Not only do you not deal in reality, you are intellectually dishonest as well.
*Looks at advanced stats*
Says here Moser was the the best 5v5 GA/60 player in the league, the best xGF% defenseman in the league, the best high danger scoring chance % in the league, and 6th in Corsi. Idk, is that good?

I missed the memo? Was I supposed to start dragging the Jackets?![]()
you're not wrong though, lol
I missed the memo? Was I supposed to start dragging the Jackets?

That might be pretty good. I wasn't disputing the assertion, just being pedantic. I'm a Stars fan, so I've seen my fair share of defensive guys who don't get credit in their careers (mainly Lindell over the years).![]()

Its an honest debate...not sure why they comment automatically goes to "troll".Absolutely. Even if any of those wingers put up more points, the product on the ice is far more complete with Matthew’s and Werenski on the ice than Werenski and whichever of those wingers you fancy most.
