Yep, a 5.8% SH% will do that to you over those first 20. Last year he was 18% in the reg season and 17.7% in playoffs. 13% the season before.

He's up to 14.3% now on the year which is much closer to normal production for him.

Well when you see the quality of chances he had early season relative to his conversion percentage it was a foregone conclusion it would rise.

How can you say no way to Tavares but pump Hyman’s tires. Tavares has more goals and nearly double the points. He also is strong along the boards, sets up in the same spot as Hyman on the PP, and a much better passer. He also is good at faceoffs. Hyman is faster, that’s about the only difference.

Not a big fan of Tavares. Especially in big games. Like Marner . Play offs leave a lot to be desired. World Championships after JT sucked against the Bruins , didn't he go over and captain TC to a non medal finish. Has this guy ever won anything since junior?
