I don't know what the shortest time back from surgery is, but two-three weeks sounds overly optimistic.I bet Hyman comes back to play at some point if we make the Cup finals.

I know it's tough teaching the old dog new tricks but I want to believe he's been chomping at the bit and is ready to do whatever it takes. Watch him go out and just throw a big hit, could happen! It would have to be Skinner. Whatever his limitations, he's a skilled veteran, who can contribute offensively.
Confirmed broken wrist so no chance of that.I bet Hyman comes back to play at some point if we make the Cup finals.
It's Hyman. he'll wrap it in duct tape and be good to go by game 5.Confirmed broken wrist so no chance of that.
Never bet against Zach Hyman.....Never!Confirmed broken wrist so no chance of that.
Is Reinhart supposed to be out all playoffs?
It kind of looked like Marchment went to finish with his elbow. What are your thoughts on that having played and coached for years? I don't think that he expected this outcome or anything, but that seems to be kind of a d-bag move IMO.I didn't see anything wrong with it. Goes to hit a guy, catches a piece. Hyman had just played the puck. Unfortunate but not dirty.
Yeah, if that's the case, it wouldn't be a true surgery - something minor like an arthroscopic surgery even takes more than 2 - 3 weeks. He's done, unfortunately. And the saddest part of this to me, is that if we win, Zach will be down an arm and likely won't be able to raise the cup over his head. Not without help at any rate.I don't know what the shortest time back from surgery is, but two-three weeks sounds overly optimistic.
Kevin Lowe didStupid question but gonna ask anyway... could you not play hockey with a broken wrist?? lol.. I mean Hyman can still play his game and be effective on the forecheck. But I guess no stickhandling and shooting well... which were never really his strengths anyways lol.
Uh, no? How does he shoot or pass? How does he do anything with the puck? What happens if he gets hit? Or if he gets knocked over onto his broken wrist?Stupid question but gonna ask anyway... could you not play hockey with a broken wrist?? lol.. I mean Hyman can still play his game and be effective on the forecheck. But I guess no stickhandling and shooting well... which were never really his strengths anyways lo./
You're right... Lowe did.... so maybe there is hopeKevin Lowe did
Hyman is just a wuss
I do wonder if does play in a later game if we get to the Final
He is playing tonight as well as MikkolaHe is listed as day to day, so one would think he'll be back. Hell, he might be back for tonights game.
You probably can, but it's probably hard. Stick handling and passing. What if somebody smokes it again? You know FLA wouldStupid question but gonna ask anyway... could you not play hockey with a broken wrist?? lol.. I mean Hyman can still play his game and be effective on the forecheck. But I guess no stickhandling and shooting well... which were never really his strengths anyways lol.
Depends which hand. If you can hold your stick you can play. I did it in junior A for the playoffs one year.Stupid question but gonna ask anyway... could you not play hockey with a broken wrist?? lol.. I doubt it wasn't really that bad of hit, now if Marchment would've caught Zach in the head then maybe.Wasn't Marchment the one who posted the tweet or whatever social post about revenge after the Nurse slash? Then injures a key player and takes him out for the season. This should be considered premeditated.
Come on guys. We are into game 5 of the WC final. The whole thing we'll be over in three weeks or less.Never bet against Zach Hyman.....Never!
Max Jones rocked a 15.38 gf% playing just 19 games in a bottom 6 role this season. Skinner had a 50.77GF% playing all over the lineup.
Funny enough the whole thing happened with him slipping the check. Had he let marchment lay him out he’d probably be fine.I doubt it wasn't really that bad of hit, now if Marchment would've caught Zach in the head then maybe.
Ya it was just a weird situation. Far from something that I thought was maliciousFunny enough the whole thing happened with him slipping the check. Had he let marchment lay him out he’d probably be fine.
