Player Discussion Zach Hyman

It would have to be Skinner. Whatever his limitations, he's a skilled veteran, who can contribute offensively.
I know it's tough teaching the old dog new tricks but I want to believe he's been chomping at the bit and is ready to do whatever it takes. Watch him go out and just throw a big hit, could happen!

How insane would it be to move Nurse to forward to replace Hyman's physicality? Nurse can score but kind of needs to be babysat by Stecher, who 100% belongs in the lineup, and we have Ekholm ready to jump in his spot. I expect fruit to be thrown for this idea, but I know I'm not the first to suggest it.

Stupid question but gonna ask anyway... could you not play hockey with a broken wrist?? lol.. I mean Hyman can still play his game and be effective on the forecheck. But I guess no stickhandling and shooting well... which were never really his strengths anyways lol.

I didn't see anything wrong with it. Goes to hit a guy, catches a piece. Hyman had just played the puck. Unfortunate but not dirty.
It kind of looked like Marchment went to finish with his elbow. What are your thoughts on that having played and coached for years? I don't think that he expected this outcome or anything, but that seems to be kind of a d-bag move IMO.

I don't know what the shortest time back from surgery is, but two-three weeks sounds overly optimistic.
Yeah, if that's the case, it wouldn't be a true surgery - something minor like an arthroscopic surgery even takes more than 2 - 3 weeks. He's done, unfortunately. And the saddest part of this to me, is that if we win, Zach will be down an arm and likely won't be able to raise the cup over his head. Not without help at any rate.

Kevin Lowe did

Hyman is just a wuss :sarcasm:

I do wonder if does play in a later game if we get to the Final

Uh, no? How does he shoot or pass? How does he do anything with the puck? What happens if he gets hit? Or if he gets knocked over onto his broken wrist?

You're right... Lowe did.... so maybe there is hope
HOPE?

You probably can, but it's probably hard. Stick handling and passing. What if somebody smokes it again? You know FLA would

Depends which hand. If you can hold your stick you can play. I did it in junior A for the playoffs one year.

Wasn't Marchment the one who posted the tweet or whatever social post about revenge after the Nurse slash? Then injures a key player and takes him out for the season. This should be considered premeditated.
I doubt it wasn't really that bad of hit, now if Marchment would've caught Zach in the head then maybe.

Max Jones rocked a 15.38 gf% playing just 19 games in a bottom 6 role this season. Skinner had a 50.77GF% playing all over the lineup.

J Skinner is absolutely not scoring with his idiotic ballerina moves in the playoffs. He’s going to bleed chances against. Fine, bring in Noah Philip who I prefer over Jones but I doubt Knob will. Philip might be our Broberg this time around. Always liked his game.
