Stramel definitely climb back, I think his ice time with WIS didn’t help, he’s now playing on the second line with Michigan
He has been their 1C lately. Good defensive player and playing both special teams on #1 team in the country. Will definitely be an NHLer

We wrapped up our prospect top 10 voting earlier in season

#1 Cole Eiserman. LW, Boston U
#2 Danny Nelson. C, Notre Dame
#3 Jesse Pulkkinen. D, JYP Finland
#4 Calle Odelius. D, Bridgeport
#5 Kamil Bednarik. C, Boston U
#6 Matthew Maggio. RW, Bridgeport
#7 Quinn Finley. LW, U Wisconsin
#8 Alex Jeffries. LW, Bridgeport
#9 Marcus Gidlöf. G, Leksands Sweden
#10 Dmitri Gamzin. G, CSKA Moscow

HM: Jesse Nurmi. LW, London OHL

Quinn Finley is the riser for us, scoring for fun in NCAA. Maggio has disappointed the most.

Looking forward to watching Eiserman, Nelson, Gidlof, and Nurmi (unless he’s the odd man out) at WJC

What happened to Dufour? He seemed to have a great start to his professional career but the last two seasons are massive statistical steps back.

In response to both Dufour and George both not making the top 10. Dufour has definitely stalled out, a continuation of forward prospects in Bridgeport. Hasn’t been able to elevate his game post QMJHL at all

George didn’t make the top 10, goes to show how much voters like myself know 😂. But really he didn’t do too much to wow in London. Was definitely a surprise call up from Bridge and benefited from a really rough patch and injuries with Islanders D corps.

Time to go back and re-do the spreadsheet to see what I come up with. Are we doing this with guys who haven't played in the NHL only? Asking since that would modify the top 10 for Buffalo since Levi, Kulich, Rosen, and RJohnson have all played games.

I only include guys currently in the NHL if I believe they're more likely than not to go back to the AHL and have played less than 10 games so far this season. Case in point is I consider Frank Nazar to still be a prospect because he was recently called up and played less than 10 games - whereas I don't include Nolan Allan as a prospect because he's played with the Hawks all season so far.

1. Frank Nazar (C)
2. Artyom Levshunov (RD)
3. Sam Rinzel (RD)
4. Nick Lardis (RW)
5. Roman Kantserov (LW)
6. Oliver Moore (C)
7. Sacha Boisvert (C)
8. Marek Vanacker (LW)
9. Adam Gajan (G)
10. Drew Commesso (G)

H.M. Jack Pridham (RW), AJ Spellacy (C), John Mustard (C), Colton Dach (LW), Aiden Thompson (RW), Ryan Greene (C), Landon Slaggert (RW), Samuel Savoie (RW)

1. RD, Carter Yakemchuk
2. C/LW, Zack Ostapchuk
3. C/LW, Stephen Halliday
4. G, Leevi Merilainen
5. G, Mads Sogaard
6. LW, Cole Reinhardt
7. LD, Donovan Sebrango
8. LW, Blake Montgomery
9. RD, Hoyt Stanley
10. LD, Matthew Andonovski

Sens prospect pool is laughably bad, but that's to be expected when your scouting staff only cares about physicality/toughness and makes the Burke-era Leafs' scouting staff look like a bunch of pansies in comparison.
sebrango in the top 10. that's not good

I think Yakemchuk is an absolute stud and love his NHL potential… honest question though, are Sens fans extremely high on Ostapchuk? Or is it a situation where Sens prospect pool is somewhat weak and that’s why he’s ranked so high in your rankings?

Not really. He's pretty much a guaranteed NHLer due to his size and speed combination, but personally I don't see a ton of upside with him. Probably looking at a 3rd line center in all likelihood.

He's ranked 2nd because there may only be 3-4 future NHLers in the entire pool and he'll certainly be one of them.

Not counting Räty as a prospect but if I did he would slot in after the trio of D-men at 6 as a defensive bottom 6 centre.

1. Tom Willander (I see his floor as a top 4 shutdown defenseman, with the potential to be a top 2 defenseman if he hits his ceiling)
2. Jonathan Lekkerimaki (I see him as a top six or bust prospect)
3. Elias Pettersson (number 3/4 D-man as a ceiling, number 7 D-man as a floor)
4. Kirill Kudryatsev (same as above)
5. Sawyer Mynio (same as above)
6. Arturs Silovs (could become a very good starting goalie if he can fix his issues with long range shots but I just don't think he will, hope he proves me wrong)
7. Max Sasson (solid bottom 6 energy foward)
8. Vilmer Alriksson (bottom 6 energy foward who is a fan favourite)
9. Arshdeep Bains (see above)
10. Ty Young (Has gained my attention based on how his season this year has gone, had written him off after losing his starting job in the WHL to Ravensberg)

HM: Danila Klimovich, having a rebound year but can't see him ever playing under Rick Tochett

Aku Koskenvuo, not high on him personally but a number of media members are.

How is Petey 2.0’s chemistry with JT Miller?
