Your Teams 4th Line. Who? How does it rank?

Was Dorsett-Horvat-Hansen for a while. Probably one of the better 4th lines in the nhl.

Whats so great about the Isles 4th line other than the fact that they hit a ton? 31 points combined doesnt sound very impressive to me... Are they a great line defensively?

Im not trying to say they arent a good 4th line, but Im curious why people think they're the undisputed best.

Ah, I love when people bring up point totals for 4th lines. 4th lines are not about scoring.

The Islanders have pretty much a perfect 4th line. Tons of energy, chip in some offense and all plus players in the process. Yeah Clutterbuck makes a bit much for his new role but no big deal. Anyone who doesn't think that line isn't playing a good part in the teams success is kidding themselves

I'm so envious. One of those players could be out there alone and it would still be better than the Penguins fourth line.

Thanks for the input. I can't edit though. What do you think of Columbus and Carolina's 4th lines? Big question marks for me, I kind of went with my gut feeling.

As a Habs fan, I want the Islanders 4th line. Martin - Cizikas - Clutterbuck can just do everything.

Ott - Goc - Reaves, Hendricks - Gordon - Klinkhammer and Dorsett - Horvat - Hansen are also very good.

Prust - Malhotra - Weise would be great if Therrien decides to put it back together.

I'm a Bruins fan who misses the ol Paille Campbell Thornton line but Campbell is done and Paille isn't what he was 4 years ago.

Panthers are probably my second favourite team and Kopecky Mackenzie Upshall/Thornton is a pretty effective line. Very expensive though.

I love Deslauriers, but I think Ellis and Kaleta are enough to make Buffalo's fourth line a pretty terrible one.

Based on that list I strongly believe Florida should be 6th. I'm not familiar with a few players on other teams though.

I'm not familiar with Sill, but Adams and Lapierre are both terrible so I would probably have PIT much lower.

If Kruger and Smith are both on CHI 4th line they should be near the top as well.

Bollig - Stajan - Byron is what Calgary has been using, but that will change when Glencross is back.

Not too bad. Would probably rank around 15th to 20th. With Bollig there though, it's probably bottom 5.

Oh I did only the eastern conference because frankly I don't know enough about the WC's 4th lines. So we're on the same page about Pitt, they're dead last.

I would also probably have Bruins and Rangers ahead of the Devils.
