Why the hell does he properly hit a guy in the defensive end, then spin off to the outside and just let the dude head for the net? D are usually taught to keep themselves between opposing players and their net/goalie. It's so strange. He just gives up like his job is done. Hell, we were always taught not only that but also to give attackers the outside so they take it. I guess common sense is just not so common. Thought I understood this game a bit. Apparently not!
