I guess you could argue that Jack Hughes now is at least equal to McDavid, who has, if not regressed yet, at least plateaud by now.

I'm not sure why you're still with the Anti Vitek take. If he or Blackwood let the two long range ones in that Akira let I last night, you'd have already shot him into the sun.

Akira and Vitek aren't great goalies. They need decent defense to look good, not odd man rushes and breakaways.

I dislike Vanacek as much as anyone but this is literally the one spot I would have definitely started him. I hate goalies on B2Bs. Yet of course they do the opposite.

You're not going to win many games scoring 2 goals either. This game is not on the goalie. Sure you'd like a save on one of those but the chances the goals have come on are awful and they can't score f***ing goals

I'm not as doom and gloom on the goalies as many people here. The skaters tonight had to convert on some of their chances earlier. Some selfish & untimely breakdowns too.

BUT WITH HAVING SAID THAT. Sell farm for a goalie. Not only because of what we've seen this season, but we also don't have anything of note in the farm. It's a bleak position in the organization, whatever the solution is we don't currently have it.
