If that happens there is always way more than just 1 game and moment that you can point towards as to why.
But if both situations go that way then oh boy, this will be one to look back on.

Highly unlikely for both of those things to happen though.

Sometimes I feel like I need to take a prolonged break from this place because of how invested I am and how my feelings towards the team would be 100x better if I stayed away.

But then I think about watching a game without being on here and it saddens me. Wouldn’t be the same and my experience as a fan would be worse I think.

This place has so much to offer. The ups, the downs. The humor. The angst. The exhilaration. The wannabe GMs (did I mention humor?). The reasonable. The unreasonable. Why would anyone NOT want to be here?:laugh::laugh:

This game has me pissed so much.

No one on either side will be laughing when the Sharks miss the first overall pick by just one or two points and we miss the playoffs by just one or two points. We can both look back on this disaster.

I had a few bad dreams after this game. One of them was yet another player on our team being out with a long term injury.

I won’t say who it was, other than it was a guy that hasn’t been injured yet this season.

I may have an inkling who you're referring to and I have to say this :

Siegenthaler was incredibly lost and unaware on this play.
That play is emblematic of a big issue we've had this year. How rarely we break up odd man rushes, and how often they result in great scoring opportunities.

Can goalies made big saves on 2 on 1's? They can and do.

Can a lone d-man make a good play to break up 2 on 1's? They can and do as well.

Maybe 5 or 6 games ago I remember both Bahl and Marino breaking up such chances. It really stood out. Obviously the opposition did not score goals in those spots.

I really don’t wanna say who it was, but I will rule out that it also wasn’t who you probably think it was.

It was someone who missed time last year.

I would prefer to not lose points for 1oa this year. Only one obvious special player. Its not like it was this summer.

But odds isn't work this way. Last place give you only 25% to win first pick and 75 to lose. Its more chances to win just to not be the last place team.
