I just don't understand why some of you defend this guy anymore. Or get mad when somebody shits on him.

He has little to do with any wins this season.

13-14 Brodeur was better than this.

Even he had THREE shutouts that season. And Vitek has two starts of just one goal against?

Fitzgerald is literally an ownership hire. He has no real experience and sucks as a GM. He has no balls and will drag this franchise to mediocrity.

The worst thing that ever happened to this franchise was getting bought out by loser owners. This is a management problem to the max. We have a stacked team and we are struggling to make the playoffs.
 
Meier, Bahl, Vanacek, Clarke for Ullmark, Geekie?

Markstrom didn't even see that shot but he saves it. Vanacek is a mahi mahi flopping on a boat waiting for the cut and doesn't save it.
 
This is a pretty evenly matched game. Goaltending is the difference

The goaltending has been absolute dogshit in this game, and it's a shame the team is losing because they shouldn't be.

That being said, simply adding another new goalie is not a magic fix all. It seems blatantly evident that we have created an extremely poor environment for average or below goalies, for several reasons that many of us have beaten to death already.

I think it's less defending VV than it is trying to say no goalie that is going to be available is going to save us behind the gong show defense we play night in and night out. Maybe we lose 5-3 instead of 6-3.

Honestly not sure how anyone can watch this and see 4 saveable goals, 3 of which were horrendous, and how we had clawed back to 3-2 with the crowd LOUD and another softy killed it. . . and not think goaltending is the problem. 34-28 in shots, NJD.

This team hasn't proved it's worthy of making an addition this season. Vitek sucks but there are issues beyond him that no trade is fixing, at least in season.
