"When you have that type of goaltending, it builds confidence because it erases mistakes,” Seattle coach Dave Hakstol said. “Mistakes happen all the time in this game, and when a goaltender takes one of those off the board, all of a sudden, it's a little easier to focus on the positive things."

It was the 1st period goals that were bad.

First was a leaky goal that went right through him. Second was a wraparound.

Look at the ducks goals...each one the attacker is literally uncontested.

I know we want a big save every now and then but you can't have opponents just walking in alone on the goaltender.
I agree. But Daws let in one that should never have gone in, and has not made one big save tonight. Thats the difference between a tied game right now, but more importantly. Momentum which could have created a different gm

None of the four Anaheim goal scorers had even a sniff of defensive pressure on them. Those are not "mistakes", that's just complete failure.

Out and can’t watch. What the f*** is going on and why the f*** is Fitz ok with running these dogshit goalies.

I’ll fix the devils:

throw lindy ruff into the ocean tied to an anchor

rip the C off of nico’s chest and give it to someone who actually leads by example.

trade dawson mercer before the rest of the NHL realizes he’s a slow mediocre 3rd liner who fell ass backwards into a good season as a 21 year old

send a submarine down to the ocean to make sure lindy hasn’t learned how to make any adjustments to the anchor tied to his leg (he hasn’t).

trade literally anything for literally any goalie who can play anywhere close to .900 hockey. i’ll take .895.
