I still remember the GDT for the draft. A bunch of us were rooting for every team in front to take other guys and they did. It really felt surreal when he was there at 18 and everyone almost knew he was a Devil

It was really strange draft day for me. I literally waited of obvious top-3, but I waited the second top-3 - Raymond, Sanderson(I thought that Yzya will draft Sanderson or Raymond) and Drysdale. And I had a feeling that Holtz will go in our direction. And than after Lundell was drafted, something beautiful started to happened. That was like a movie. Before I was hoping for Reichel, but when chicago start to think, I was on the another planet, because even if they will draft Mercer, Reichel had to be available. But they prefered to draft Lukas. That was crazy. And I think it changed this franchise. Of course Hughes and Nico are most important players, but GMs ans Scouts made right picks there. But our 18th pick in 2020 was really magick one. Our offensive depth is loaded for years now.
