H-m-m-m-m, the Devils have 8 points. That makes them tied for the overall lead in the NHL with Dallas and Calgary. Upon closer examination the Stars and Flames have both only played 4 games and have yet to lose. NJ playing game #7 already tonight. These guys need a little down time.

Love the line changes. It took longer than expected but Meier and Hischier finally developed great chemistry towards the end of last season. Timo with Hughes has never worked.

Cotter has certainly earned an opportunity to play on the top line.

Being as loaded as we are on the blueline, I can see Fitz pulling the trigger at the deadline for a top six winger. It would have sounded crazy a year ago and may still sound that way but could you see Fitz moving Nemec? I’m not rooting for that at all but if the organization is in love with Casey (rightfully so IMO if they are)….

who's winning faceoffs on jacks line?
It's not that big of a deal, if they lose they facoeff they just have to chase the puck around for about 45 seconds and then get off and if the play is still going on 3 minutes or so later they can come out fresh and try to get it back if the team hasn't yet.
