Essentially, since our whole game is built on speed we have trouble in the first when the other team is energized and we're able to take over after we tire them out a bit. When the other team still has jump they can take advantage of our shortcomings easier

Mercer has looked good when he has had extended time in the top 6 this year. He isn’t a play driver at this stage of his career, but he is a guy who can be the third forward in the top 6 of a good team. That isn’t a guy you move out.

I don’t think they move him (I think Sharangovich is the guy they move).
