I mean the poster I was responding to was talking about the bottom 6 in general. I wasn't talking specifically about tonight. But I think it's pretty fair to say our bottom 6 is pretty weak, even when healthy.

I didn't think the first goal was bad. Rebound shot on the rush in tight.

And if the 2nd goal was tipped then neither were bad goals against.
 
People saying it’s ok we are playing like shit because we are missing Nico and Marky need to think again . Lots of teams continue to win with injuries. We are missing two players and look like a lottery team ? We were shit since the Christmas break with Nico . Only reason we didn’t lose every single game was Markstrom. People saying they are not worried , need to start thinking we need to be. We are getting destroyed right now and have huge issues handling bottom of the league teams . Fitz needs to do something with the bottom 6 . With Nico out ,it looks like Jack is trying to do everything himself ( and fails trying to go one on 3/4 and turns the puck over ). Bratt disappears for a few games at a time. That leaves us with zero offence

It also ignores how many times they got shutout when healthy and how they have not been able to get a sustained winning streak going and have only managed to max at 3 in a row. Then haven't done that in what is likely over a month but have managed to have 2 4 game losing streaks before nico went down.

This is the first particularly good team we've played since the Leafs 3 weeks ago?

And we're being badly outclassed here. This looks as bad as any game pre 2022-2023 or even last year.

Last year we'd just be down 4-1 or 4-2 because our goalies were junk, but we could actually score 2 goals.

I dont think folks are saying its ok, we just understand how the forward depth has been constructed. This is a .500 team currently if one of Nico or Jack are out. Thats just the reality.

Ive been asking for a forward move all season

In fairness, the GDT is really the time to exercise those demons when the team is playing bad. That's what i like to do. I let all my shots from the hip go in the GDT and then try to maintain a semblance of reason and balance in the team discussion thread.

But in here, I just like to let it fly.

Incoming Holtz goal. And is there anyone in the Knights without a goal this year or in a 30+ game drought ? If so. , it’s a gaurentee they score . Or maybe Saads first goal as a Knight .

He had the first shot from the first goal in his glove and dropped it. I thought it was a bad one.

But again, I think we're getting shutout. We look amazingly miserable all around. Too bad to dare blame the goalie.
