Pens had the puck more due to face offs won and deciding to be super cautious and not attack every time. That’s it, has nothing to do with anything else. Bill described it perfectly. All teams been doing this against NJ in OT
 
The league has figured them out in OT, it also doesn't help that the shitty ass league rewards teams running back once you gained the zone. That needs to be a delay of game

Been saying it for a few years. This is something the league needs to figure out. You shouldn't be able to leave the offensive zone with possession. If you do it's blown dead and it's a faceoff in the neutral zone or your own end.

I don't blame the Pens for playing in a shootout, young goalie with no lateral movement + a team that naturally sucks in the shootout too but lol @ being able to play OT the way they did
 
Gotta institute the no reversing the puck back past the red line once you cross it in OT as a rule for next season. The rag the puck back to make a full change is killing 3 on 3.
Less than 20% of OT games are going to shootout now. They aren’t messing with the current formula at all.
