If Allen gives them another one on Wednesday, they need to start Daws (assuming he's up) in Buffalo. They can't afford to let Allen have all the rope.

This was a game out of Blackwood's later Devils tenure. We just had a way better offense the last time Blackwood played here than we've had at any point this year.

Allen's has a few games this season like this. Where he gives up just brain dead ones.

He's also had games we should have won, but scoring was lacking.

But the ones he give up like this just sink the game right away.

We've been extremely useless with a man/skater advantage today. That was evident about 4 minutes into the game.

Just tie it and get a point out of this.

And then Allen can allow a goal 8 seconds into OT. He was probably only gonna do that anyway.

Team has Halonen and Tatar out there on an empty net and people are somehow mad about this loss lol
Officially this loss looks like it's a Jake Allen sucks loss. Just like the Elvis game.

Meier blasts a one time from the right side. That was his bread and butter in SJ. Why don't we utilize him on the RW where he played his best? I know people shit on Timo but we don't use him at all like SJ did.

I don't care what anybody says, this game is on Allen. Just like the Columbus game, he was once again the difference.

SUNK us in the 1st period.

Yes, so did the abhorrent double minor power play, but that was probably because we're handicapped.

Jake Allen allowing 2 soft goals in the 1st wasn't because we were handicapped.
