Fitz really needs to make a trade ASAP for a high quality 3c or decent 2c. When Haula returns he should be a 4th line center tops. We need to return to the identity of being deep in our top 9. I wouldn't be opposed to trading a player like Casey if we can land a 2/3c with a few years of control on a decent cap hit who can give us a few years of a playoff run. As for Timo, he has been underwhelming but again we still don't play him on RW which is where he thrived in SJ so idk why we don't try him there. What do I know? I'm just some bum online. As for Mercer goes I wouldn't mind trading him at all if it was for a big upgrade. If Nico ever goes down long term we're screwed since he is our only true workhorse center who can win faceoffs. He's the sole identity of this team and unless we find another top c we aren't going to do anything forcing Nico to do it all.
