The Flyers are literally sick and out playing us so the injury excuse is just that, an excuse. Also shows how soft this team is they couldn't play like the Flyers are when sick.

It's been a bad team during his tenure. His decisions warrant criticism, but I'm not sure his level of in season activity does. He has been active in most of these seasons. And I'm sure he'll make a move or two (probably much to my chagrin) this year closer to the deadline.

We are not going to make the playoffs if we continue to play like this. If we do make it , how the hell are we going to win a best of 7 against the Canes or Caps if we can’t even handle the Flyers ???

I like our chances better against the Canes and Capitals than the Flyers and whatever humpty team won't be in the playoffs. We look good against the good team. We look BAD against HUMPTY teams like this.

But if we don't turn it around while the schedule is still soft, as in the next THREE opponents or I'd say four of the five (Vegas is the only particularly good team) through the break, we just might find ourselves out of the playoffs and passed by some of those teams behind us.

I’m kind of getting 16-17 vibes right now. Hit New Year’s close to first place then key injuries hit (that year was Schneider) and then hit a long bad skid and had to hold on for dear life.
