I am not sure what happen to the Devils but they must remember to play Defense. Don't try to do too much with the puck. With Markstrom out they must think defense and help Allen.

Caufield has an elite shot which is one of the best in the league. Allen has played solid overall. That was simply an extremely rare bad play by Nico and the rush the other way was played poorly. It happens.

Our woeful lack of center depth has been a concern all season. Let’s pray Nico is OK…we can’t afford to lose him or Jack. Can you imagine Dowling as our 2C? Downright scary. This position MUST be addressed by Fitz.

The whole situation. Friedman reported they nearly dealt Pettersson to Carolina yesterday (but they opted for the Colorado deal). So last week Pettersson tells them he wanted to stay and they nearly trade Miller to the Rangers falls through. Now they nearly traded Pettersson and that gets leaked out. They are going to have to trade both.
