We are in major panic territory if we come out of these next 3-4 games with 2-4 points.
We can’t afford another week of 500 of sub-500 like we had on that California trip.
At least not right now. Build up another cushion first.
I don’t wanna hear anything about the Flyers. The Flyers are the worst team in the conference if you held a gun to my head and asked me to rank #16.
You don’t have to like it, but it’s a fact we couldn’t get enough games to OT last year.
Everyone wants both points of course, especially with the lead for much of the game, but it’s easy to see that we weren’t at our best tonight so you have to take the positives where you can. I’m not one to dwell. We need to continue with pushing forward with punching this wall.
That's the team I thought they would be this year ... hopefully they still get there
When you have the lead late you aren’t the ones getting the game to OT. You’re the ones letting the game go to OT.
Gutting out Points with Norovirus. It lingers longer in some that others. Source: my esophagus and butt in comparison to my wife and 7 other family members who all got it on Christmas.
I’m thrilled they gutted out points against top teams while battling sickness.
yup, we are playing the top teams in the east and going blow for blow with them .. we skate with any team in the league..Hard to be mad at 4pts out of possible 6, especially when I feared they'd lose all three. It does suck that we are living of loser points though and have only won 3 in our last 10gp. They also haven't been dominant since that late December Rangers game. I'm glad they are in a playoff spot, but disappointed that they no longer look like a contender, but a bubble team/1st round exit. Hopefully this next stretch reignites them and they get back to that dominant play.
And that’s with injuries and a virus floating around!yup, we are playing the top teams in the east and going blow for blow with them .. we skate with any team in the league..
This is a good view of Luke's change.
It's a bad change, but not quite as awful as I'd thought. He's headed off at the same time his guy is coming off (Matthews). Nylander hops on early. Dougie takes longer to get on - presumably because Luke could have pivoted and covered Nylander instead of changing - and starts further back (because it's the "long change"). The result is what we saw.
And that’s with injuries and a virus floating around!
Again why do people assume it’s that? Virus or illness can be anythingGutting out Points with Norovirus.
I know like a dozen people who are dealing with norovirus in NJ right now. Spreading like crazy.Again why do people assume it’s that? Virus or illness can be anything
"no, patrick mayonnaise is not an instrument"Names two continents: Shorsey “mustard and relish”
The entire team is skating in mud. They are a gear or two down. Anyone who watched the full season can see it clearly with their eyes. The team is dealing with fatigue, whether its from the grind of the schedule or illness, they are currently fighting it. A healthy team would get their ass chewed off to the press by Keefe with the recent play. He hasn’t been doing that for a reason.Again why do people assume it’s that? Virus or illness can be anything
