This game is a masterclass in how to have a bad breakout system.

Dallas can disrupt a breakout even applying pressure with only 1 skater on 3 defenders. Devils breakout most of the night is just to fire the puck around the boards or into the neutral zone and hope. (Hope normally fails)

Yeah any time we have to watch the Devils play a team that consistently does the little things like keep their sticks on the ice and in passing lanes, you realize they still have a ways to go.
