Zetterlund as enforcer. Good to know.I don’t get how Lindy didn’t respond by putting Zetterlund on his line. Not that he’s some bruiser, but he’s heavier and stronger than most players on the ice.
My point was that when you start losing, now matter how it happened, it wears on you. Things compound on themselves. Losing the Philly game, on its own, isn’t a problem. The fact that they couldn’t score and lost their 4th in a row, was indicative of a pattern. A pattern of losing. When that ball gets rolling (like the winning streak) it’s hard to stop. No, I'm legitimately pissed at this game tonight. Last 3 games they were the better team.
Does Wood ever do anything like ths?If the game further slips away, just send Smith, Wood, and McLeod out with Nico and jump the first guy that touches him.
And if you dont trust Holtz then fricking send him down and call up someone else. Its so dumb to dress him so he gets couple minutes on PP where no one sets him up once and then he sits at the bench for the rest of the game. And it’s not like the top lines are doing jack shit anyway

This postWhat’s weaker? Barkovs knee? Or the panthers in the playoffs
You do not need an enforcer. No one does, that’s caveman nonsense. They’re totally irrelevant. But yes, Zetterlund can withstand checks really well — he’s reverse checked like a half dozen guys on their ass this year. He’s 220+ pounds.Zetterlund as enforcer. Good to know.
It doesn't, if we were scoring goals tonight it wouldn't matter. If the league actually gave a f*** about player safety and the rules it wouldn't either.Wait...wut... is this the 'grit' argument or the size argument? Thought it doesn't matter.
The famously gritty and tough Florida Panthers!Wait...wut... is this the 'grit' argument or the size argument? Thought it doesn't matter.
Not as much as he used to.Does Wood ever do anything like ths?
Honest question, I don’t remember. He isn’t really engaged in this kind of stuff for a big man.
Of course we don't. But we need players who can stay on the ice and go to the places to score and not get killed. Nico is actually one of them. Who else is? I mean, this is playoff hockey so get used to it.It doesn't, if we were scoring goals tonight it wouldn't matter. You certainly don't need an enforcer. Meatheads that can't play are a thing of the past.

They need a spark.
@Bleedred thinks it’s Blackwood but I’m not sure

Hmm. Look a hell of alot tougher than us.The famously gritty and tough Florida Panthers!
Geertsen didn't do shit to retaliate when he was playing last year. You do not need an enforcer. No one does, that’s caveman nonsense. They’re totally irrelevant. Oh, and he’s actually played really well with Nico this year. But no, we need Geertsen.
