I thought we played well outside of the usual late arrival start and a couple of scrambly moments and fire drills.

If this team doesn't have a gut check with this break and realize how everything went absurdly wrong with them and turn it up after Christmas then there was no hope for them to begin with. Also with the NHL's rules about flying day of for that first game, if they can't beat CBJ flying in next Wednesday they're also joking

Devils win this game to feel good now and during the Christmas break.
I feel more relieved than good but I guess it's all the same anyway.
Will the next step be the predicted "Stomp on the Devils Fans' face" loss to the BlowJackets after the break or can the Devils actually not follow the sh*tty script for a change?

I thought maybe it would be a bit more of a convincing win, but I actually had a good feeling we would win tonight.
Now they can erase this with yet another dud against the Blue Jackets.
