Above league average save percentage.
That's because the team doesn't allow very hard chances, they play MUCH better than last year.
And the team goaltending being perfectly average even analytically is pretty much all on Allen being considerably above average.
Markstrom has been as mediocre as it gets. And he's not playing ''Dat Ruff system tho'' and all the excuses from last year. He would have been nearly Vitek bad if the team was as bad as last year. Probably not quite Vitek bad (that was bad), but Daws level.
Expected save percentages on this year's team are CONSIDERABLY ABOVE LEAGUE AVERAGE. Last year they were not.
Cotter-Nico-Noesen has been fine. Should've just went Foote 4th line and Tatar into Cotter's spot on the 3rd line. That gives you 3 solid lines.

Who cares? It's one game that started horribly because of horrible officiating against us. Just get back to it Friday against the Red Wings. They're 10-3 in their last 13.
