Maybe not enough to determine he's a 100% a dud but it's enough to determine he's 99% likely a dud and you can't play him anymore.

Unfortunately, I think it was determined before this year even started. They put him on waivers to start the year.

Last year was the year they probably hoped he'd show something, which he couldn't because he was injured. I don't feel like the organization is high on him anymore. Some people who aren't happy that he was called up may feel that way, but I don't think that's why it is. I think this is like ''Last chance, show us something now'' deal.

Markstrom had a 56% chance of allowing 1 goal in this game so far what what he's faced. He's allowed 3.

What are the chances he gets scored on by this PP if he faces more than say 3 or 4 shots?
 
St Louis shouldn't even try and take another shot all game. Winning the game with 1 shot through 2 periods would be historic shit.

I’ll take a kill against a team to potentially shift momentum when you’re sleepwalking through a game like this one.

I’m not using emotion as a synonym for dumb scrums after the whistle, it could be a hit, some fire on the bench, anything. They seemed like they gave up in the first.

Screw that when it’s the third period and you’re behind by three, that’s dumber than Timo’s shit - that’s just being a sore loser

Yeah, exactly. They sat there and death marched for 40 minutes only to have Cotter look something other than catatonic when the game is almost over.
 
Haven't seen this one but giving up a goal 9 seconds into the game was probably a sign of what kind of night it was going to be.

Poor officiating to start and Markstrom couldn't stop a god damn beach ball if it was rolled to him underhanded in the 1st period. He gave us no chance.

And he's only had to stop 2 shots since then? Or at least only 2 shots since the 1st period ended.
